About Jamie Carney
I was born into a family of fine artists, my mother and older brother both being oil painters. I picked up the pen at a young age and never looked back, sketching and doodling my way through life.

In 1985 I got my first computer, a Commodore 64. I taught myself BASIC and started moving pixels around and making simple games.

During my high school years I was awarded a number of State awards for my artwork and design.

I entered an internship as a 3D animator at Big Kahuna Productions in 1994. At BKP I was introduced to the World Wide Web and designed my first web site, 13 years ago.

Since that time I have spent my time learning all the major graphic and animation software packages and have branched out to explore all aspects of multimedia production, including digital video.

I have worked for well-respected design agencies in the heart of Silicon Valley, survived the "Dot Bomb" and now run a successful freelance business.

When I'm not on the computer I'm in my art studio moving color around a canvas. You can see "Attack of the Eye Plant" and other pieces of work by visiting www.zamondo.com. I garden, surf, draw, sculpt and paint to keep my mind healthy and up to the task of making your ideas come to life.
